“Children’s Paradise” was envisioned from the need of one little boy named José, who at the age of 2 was orphaned; his mother and brother had passed away and his father had abandoned him, but thanks to a rescue mission into the mountains by missionary Carlos Vargas, he was found and became the first child to become part of Hope of Life’s children’s ministry.
From there arose the vision to construct a home for orphaned and abused children with a capacity of up to 150 children. HOL is a safe haven where no child has to worry when they will have their next meal or where it will come from. Children’s Paradise provides a home, food, clothing, education and love; everything a child needs & desires.
“Children’s Paradise” is built on the peak of a mountain in the village of Llano Verde, where they can appreciate an extraordinary view not only of the mountains & valley, but of their lives as well. All of this was made possible through the hard work and dedication of volunteer missionaries with amazing hearts full of love who continuously visit HOL mission year after year.
Hope of Life’s vision of “Children’s Paradise” does not exist only for their present, but also for their future. We are preparing them with the skills they require for greater opportunities in life. With your help we can teach them to be productive men and women of God. Also, praying that their past does not affect their future and that the love of God reflected in our labor marks the difference in their lives so that one day they too can help others!
